Working Title films is a film production company that comes under Comcast’s umbrella of institutes that make up their company. Effectively Working title is owned by Universal Studios, who are owned by NBC Universal who are owned by entirely by Comcast.

 

Universal Studios owns  67% of Working Title Films, but due to the distinctiveness of their corporation Working Title Films have the freedom to make their own creative decisions, despite being owned by another organisation. Although Working Title Films has self rule creatively, they do not  financially. Universal Studios have the right to decline any of their projects, especially with a budget of only $35 million.
